Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)

A UN body established in 1988 to assess climate change science, impacts, and responses. It reviews and synthesises existing research to inform policymakers and the public, producing comprehensive reports that shape international climate policies. The IPCC’s work is divided into three working groups covering physical science, impacts & adaptation and mitigation strategies.
