Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engine

An internal combustion engine fueled by hydrogen. Its advantage is that hydrogen combustion lacks carbon-based pollutants. However, hydrogen is difficult to handle and it can produce oxides of nitrogen (the combustion occurs in an atmosphere containing nitrogen and oxygen), making it challenging for this engine to be zero-emission.
